Arts in Maroondah required a fresh, new logo to accompany new arts and cultural directions and a new website. It was felt that a logo which was aspirational as well as inspirational was needed to reflect the progressive new arts and culture approach that Maroondah City Council had adopted.
The vibrant, shard-like sculptural shapes which form a stylised M are not only reminiscent of Maroondah's backdrop of hills, but also allude to the significant urban development and increased cultural vibrancy that is taking place in the city.
